Sequoyah Jr Lady Chief News

                                           Congratulations - Sequoyah Jr Chiefs 7th grade girls basketball team!

The Lady Jr chiefs have won all three basketball tournaments they have played in this year, The Creekview Invitational, Carson Tool Thanksgiving Tournament and the William Fox Holiday Classic. They are also the Back To Back East Region Champions in the CCJBC League ( Cobb County Junior Basketball Conference) for 2010-2011.  They have a record of 23-1, and going 7-0 in Region play.The only loss was against the Campbell Spartans in the first game of the season and they avenged that loss in the William Fox Holiday Classic.

8th Grade Lady Chiefs

The 8th Grade Lady Chiefs are off to a great start.  They were runner ups in the Creekview Invitational Tournament  and the Carson Tool Thanksgiving tournament losing to Creekview by a few points both times in the Championship games.   This team was the 2009 East Region Champions and in 2010 they were the runner-ups in the East Region.

   5th Grade Lady Chiefs



The 5th grade chiefs won the Creekview Invitational and were runner-ups in the 6th grade division of the Kennesaw Mtn Holiday Tournament.

It's great to see the Lady Chiefs teams do so well!  We are proud of all these teams!  Keep it up Chiefs!
